Period Instrument Luthier in Vienna, Austria, and La Coruña, Spain

Taller de Luthier La Coruña

I divide the year and seasons between Vienna and Spain,  with most summers spent in Spain. Musicians are welcome to visit the new workshop in the old city, try instruments as well as Spanish wines, and in general move at a slower pace in sync with my own.  In the winter months I can still be found in Vienna, hibernating, working, and enjoying the fairytale scenery powered with snow.

Enquiries

If you are interested in a particular instrument, please feel free to get in touch. I am happy to provide additional photographs, measurements, sound samples where available, or discuss repertoire, setup, and any other questions that may help you determine whether an instrument is right for your needs.

Payment

To make purchasing from abroad as straightforward as possible, a 50% deposit is requested to confirm the order prior to shipment. The remaining balance is payable after the instrument has been safely delivered and you have had the opportunity to inspect it

Shipping

Worldwide shipping is included in the purchase price.

Each instrument is carefully packed and shipped by an established international courier, fully insured for its complete value. Tracking information is provided as soon as the instrument has been dispatched.

Customs, Duties and VAT

International deliveries may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes, or local VAT in the destination country. These charges, where applicable, are determined by the authorities of the receiving country and remain the responsibility of the purchaser.

Where European Union VAT rules apply, invoices will be prepared in accordance with the relevant legislation.

After Delivery

Please take time to examine your instrument after it arrives. Should you have any questions regarding setup, strings, maintenance, or performance, I am always available to provide advice and support.

My relationship with a musician does not end when an instrument leaves the workshop. I hope it marks the beginning of many years of music making.
